Q) Is my organization eligible to register in PMEA?

A) Yes. All organizations in Pakistan, irrespective of size (micro, small, medium, large) and nature of work (Government, Private, Not-for-Profit, etc.) are eligible to register in the PMEA program.

Q) Is my organization eligible to apply every year, or as often as we like?

A) In principle you can, however, it depends upon the level of maturity/scores. All applications will be closely scrutinized by the PMEA Secretariat for eligibility and readiness.

Q) Can my organization apply for multiple PMEA categories?

A) Yes. Note, separate applications are to be filed with the applicable fee per PMEA category.

Q) Is there a limit on the number of organizations which will receive the PMEA?

A) No. Awards will be given in three categories, People, Customer Excellence & Innovation. Eligibility for awards and/or certificates will depend upon the PMEA application, assessment, site visit and final score.

Q) Is my organization eligible to apply every year, or as often as we like?

A) In principle you can, however, it depends upon the level of maturity/scores. All applications will be closely scrutinized by the PMEA Secretariat for eligibility and readiness.

Q) Do Assessors get paid?

A) Yes. Stipend is paid, plus expenses, as applicable.

Q) What is the PMEA Registration Fee?

A) Nominal fee of Rs.25,000 is payable with Registration.

Q) Is there a PMEA Application fee?

A) This depends upon the size of the organization/number of employees. Micro/start-ups with 9 employees and less Rs.15000; Small entities (10-49 employees) Rs.30000; Medium sized organizations (50-249 employees) Rs.75000; Large entities (250 plus employees) Rs.150,000.

Q) Is there a monetary contribution required by Council of Champions member organizations?

A) Rs 10 million one-time payment. CoC members will be the ambassadors of excellence. They will coordinate with the Government of Pakistan to promote PMEA and seek exclusive benefits for registered organizations.

Q) How many organizations does PMEA intend to register in the program?

A) PMEA mission is to register every single organization in Pakistan in the program, to develop a unified baseline and understanding.

Q) Who is the patron of the PMEA program?

A) Honorable President of Pakistan Dr. Arif Alvi is the PMEA patron.

Q) Does my organization need to recruit additional specialist resources to implement PMEA?

A) No. It is recommended that the organization designate a senior team member to form a diverse cross-functional team, which will be duly trained by PMEA Secretariat.

Q) How do you ensure independence of Assessment team?

A) Assessment team members selection, training and deployment falls under the responsibility of PMEA Secretariat which is overseen by an independent Jury and Governing Body. Checks and balances are built in the process to ensure that there is no conflict of interest and there is full transparency and adequate governance.

Q) How can I become an Assessor?

A) If you have the requisite experience, you can join the PMEA Assessor pool. Contact us for more information.

Q) Does PMEA Secretariat provide training and consulting?

A) Yes. Training courses are available in all major cities of Pakistan. Consulting services are tailored to suit specific client requirements and are resourced accordingly.

Q) My nature of work is unique, how will PMEA benefit my organization?

A) PMEA framework is based upon international business excellence models, ISO standards and best practices. It is generic in nature and is applicable to all types of organizations.

Q) How will my organization benefit from PMEA?

A) PMEA has numerous benefits. It is primarily designed to propel your organizational journey towards world-class best practices.

Q) Will the Government of Pakistan extend any special privileges or benefits to PMEA Registrants?

A) Yes, in due course. It is work in progress. PMEA Council of Champions(CoC) will play a key role in this regard.

Q) What is the value of "PMEA Registrant" certificate?

A) All organizations which register and complete the initial application process will receive the Initial Feedback Report and “PMEA Registrant” certificate. The intention of the certificate is to distinguish the organization from others and confirm its intent to embrace and embark on the excellence journey. Registered Organization will be eligible to display the “PMEA Registrant” seal on letterheads, business cards and other collateral.
